This page describes the process of becoming a member at The Bible Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

The decision to join The Bible Church is typically expressed during the invitation in one of our services. The process starts with you being a baptized believer. Our church will assist you with baptism if needed.

Your membership will be confirmed during our services after both you and the pastor agree on your decision and you have been baptized according to Acts 2:38.

In addition, you will be received by the congregation. This gives our members a chance to officially greet you as part of The Bible Church family.

There are also a series of New Membership Classes that will be required to help you to settle in and build you up in the Apostles' Doctrine Faith.

Have faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (Mark 16:16).

His virgin birth (Matt. 1:23; Luke 1:31, 35).

His sinless life (Heb. 7:26; I Pet 2:22).

His miracles (Acts 2:22; 10:38).

His death on the cross (I Cor. 15:3, II Cor. 5:21).

His bodily resurrection from the dead (Matt. 28:6, Luke 24:39; I Cor. 15:4).

His exaltation to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9, 11: 2:33; Phil 2:9-11; Heb. 1-3).

He is LORD of ALL.

We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.

Willing to repent of and forsake their past sins (Acts 2:38).

Come before the church to express their desire to include becoming a member.

Those desires are to be acknowledged and approved by the pastor.

Must have been, or be baptized “in the NAME of JESUS CHRIST for the remission of their sins” (Acts 2:38).

For those who have already been baptized, the previous baptism MUST had been by a church that teaches the Apostle’s Doctrine and this baptism MUST had been administered by a MALE who is authorized by the scriptures to perform such a baptism.

After repentance and baptism, you must continue in the APOSTLE’S doctrine, the teaching of the Apostles, and the doctrine of HOLINESS living a separated life style from the world.

Those who are currently a member of another Apostolic church are requested to provide a letter of good standing or release, if possible.
